Electrical Usage Guide

Ensure you are getting all the power you need to run the elements in your booth by cross checking your plans with the amount of power each item requires.

Frequently Asked Questions

HOW MUCH POWER SHOULD I ORDER?

We suggest you evaluate what you’ll need to plug in within your exhibit space. Typical items include computers, phone chargers, lead retrieval, lighting, A/V equipment and your own booth product.

Most power orders will require 110/120 volt power which is found in standard wall outlets in a home. Machinery and specialty equipment usually requires 208 volt service.

Feel free to contact us for further guidance.

HOW MANY PLACES WILL I HAVE TO PLUG IN?

Each outlet ordered has one (1) place to plug in. You can order a multi outlet strip for additional plug in options.

For example, if you order 1 – 2000 watt outlet and a plug strip at the back of your booth, you may plug in a laptop, phone charger, and an additional item as long as all components don’t exceed the wattage.

I NEED POWER IN MULTIPLE LOCATIONS ~ WHAT DO I DO?

Individual outlets must be ordered for each location that requires power. It is mandatory to submit a scaled electrical diagram with the following details:

  1. Exact measurement to each outlet
  2. Amount of power required at each location
  3. Surrounding booth numbers for orientation purposes
  4. Indicate a location for the main electrical panel. This is the main starting point where outlets will be distributed from. It should be concealed in a storage closet, under a draped table, in a cabinet, etc, but we must have access to it.
DO I NEED TO ORDER ELECTRICAL LABOR?

Electrical Labor is required for the following circumstances:

  • All Island booths
  • Electrical distribution other than the back wall of in-line booths.
  • All 208V services and higher

Dismantle labor will automatically be calculated at a minimum of 50% of the installation time.

CAN I BRING MY OWN PLUG STRIP?

Yes, as long it has circuit protection and is UL Listed.
